1 How does pricing work?
Our pricing follows a simple three-step process:
- Estimate: When you submit a service request, we show you an estimated price range based on similar repairs.
- Diagnosis: A qualified technician visits your location to diagnose the exact issue with your equipment.
- Final Quote: After diagnosis, you receive a detailed quote with the actual cost. You approve before any repair work begins.
This ensures you always know the cost before committing to repairs.
2 What's included in the service fee?
Your service fee typically includes:
- Technician labor for the repair work
- Standard parts and materials (specialty parts may be quoted separately)
- Diagnostic assessment of the equipment issue
- Post-repair testing to ensure proper operation
- 90-day warranty on completed repairs
3 Is there a diagnostic or trip charge?
A diagnostic fee covers the technician's time to travel to your location and assess the equipment. This fee is typically applied to your final repair cost if you proceed with the repair.
If you choose not to proceed with repairs after diagnosis, only the diagnostic fee applies. This covers the technician's expertise and time spent evaluating your equipment.
4 What is pre-authorization?
Pre-authorization is a temporary hold placed on your payment method when you request service. This is not a charge - it's a verification that funds are available.
- The hold is based on the estimated repair range
- You're only charged the actual amount after you approve the final quote
- If you decline repairs, only the diagnostic fee (if applicable) is charged
- Unused holds are released within 3-5 business days
5 What if the cost exceeds the estimate?
Sometimes diagnosis reveals additional issues. If the actual cost exceeds our initial estimate:
- The technician will explain what was found and why additional work is needed
- You'll receive a revised quote with the new total
- You must approve the new quote before any additional work is done
- You can choose to proceed, decline, or get a second opinion
You're never charged more than you approve.
6 What payment methods are accepted?
We accept the following payment methods:
- Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover)
- Debit cards with Visa/Mastercard logo
- ACH bank transfers (for qualifying accounts)
